Gen Con is reporting record attendance this year – and we could tell! The halls were packed, the point of sales were busy, and everyone was exhausted by the end of it. But what a wonderful time. Thank you so much to everyone who managed to stop by our booth or event space to check out our games and chat with us. It’s awesome to get to meet you and hear your stories about playing our games.
We had two great spaces this year… our booth (1731) and a huge event space in Hall B.
But have you ever seen what it looks like before all the booths are set up? It’s a forest of boxes and pallets and cement floors. Here’s a peek at what our booth looked like on “set up day”.
And here’s how it looked after! It takes hours and hours – but it’s worth it.
While a lot of folks were excited to grab one of our limited stock of Thunder Road: Vendetta – Maximum Chrome, the real hits of our booth were the Crossbows & Catapults shooting station and the display case showing off the draft sculpts for Unmatched Adventures: TMNT!
Thanks to the terrific twins for demoing the heck out of Crossbows & Catapults. It was so fun to see folks – especially the kids – having a blast.
Our event space was always busy with learn-to-play demos of Thunder Road: Vendetta, Return to Dark Tower, and Unmatched. And, of course, the Unmatched tournament scene continues to grow.
Huge thanks to our amazing event team for demoing and managing tournaments like the champs they are.
And, of course, lots of folks were asking about Unmatched Adventures: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We’re very happy to see all the excitement for the game. It’s hitting Kickstarter in September (if all goes to plan) and don’t forget to sign up to be notified! Folks who do that and back for the game will get our signature special metal coin for free!
Don’t forget, we have a wonderful Discord where you can chat with other folks about our games, ask rules questions, find folks to play online against, and more. And hey – you never know – you might get sneak peeks or little spoilers about all the cool stuff we have coming up!
