Descriptions and Registration

Roster

16 players will compete in a swiss event, playing 2 proposed 1v1 games per round. At event start, players will register their roster of 4 fighters. Each round, they propose 2 of their own fighters to face each other on 1 of the maps, and the other 2 on the other map. The matchup played will be randomly selected for game 1, the winner of that game scoring 1 point. Game 2 is chosen by the game 1 winner, and is worth 2 points.
Players must bring 4 fighters. Maps provided. Rules knowledge required. Ages 9+
All participants receive a foil card, top winner prize receives a set of 3 foils and 2 boost cubes.

2 vs 2

16 players will compete in teams of 2, in a swiss event, playing 1 game each round. At the start of the event, each team of 2 players will register their roster of 5 fighters to share. Each round, the teams will select the 2 characters they will play. The winner of the round scores 2 points.
Players must bring a roster of 5 fighters. Maps provided. Knowledge of rules required. Ages 9+
All participants receive a foil card, top winner prize receives a set of 3 foils and 2 boost cubes.

Conscript

16 players will compete in a single elimination, 1v1 event, playing 1 game each round, over 4 rounds. Players will each receive 2 characters to play at the start of the event. At the end of each round, the winner will discard their winning character and take all of their opponent’s characters, adding them to their own roster, before choosing 3 characters from that roster to take into the next round.
All materials provided. Knowledge of rules required. Ages 9+
All participants receive a foil card, top winner prize receives a set of 3 foils and 1 boost cube.

Blitz

16 players compete in a single elimination, 4 Player Free For All event, 1 game each round, over 2 rounds. Groups of 4 players draft from a pool of 12 characters. When a player’s character is defeated, they will spawn their next character at the start of their turn, placing their new character on the board with full health, and drawing a new hand of cards. The first player to defeat 3 characters wins the round and moves on.
