2025 has flown by and suddenly we’re in November, but that means PAX Unplugged is right around the corner! Come visit the Restoration crew at Booth 2143. Our booth is right by the event space again so you can easily hop from a tournament table to buy a copy of Unmatched in our booth.
Speaking of Unmatched, you’ll have even more heroes to choose from with two of our newest games at the show!
Two of the greatest fighters in history face off to see who will be the ultimate champion in our new 2 character box set, Unmatched: Bruce Lee vs Muhammad Ali.
Then it’s time to team up in Unmatched Adventures as the Heroes in the Half Shell. Shredder has invaded New York and Krang is spreading Dimension X! It’s up to you and your Turtle crew to work together to take them down. Learn how to play the newest Unmatched Adventures game with a demo in our booth or in our event space.
We’ll have other Unmatched games and Thunder Road: Vendetta too! If you’re looking for Return to Dark Tower, our Expeditions Kickstarter campaign just ended recently but late pledges are available here! You can hop in and buy the Return to Dark Tower content you want, including titles that have been out of stock. We’ll get that fulfilled next year.
Events
We’ll be running demos of games in our booth but in the event space you can sign up for full learn to play events or tournaments! You can see the full listing of our available events on our Challonge page.
Registration for learn to play events opens each morning at 8:00 am through the PAX nav app during the convention so make sure to plan ahead and be prepared to snag your spot for that day.
Tournaments are a chance to test your skills and win prizes and you can grab a spot now! Survive the post-apocalyptic racing mayhem in Thunder Road: Vendetta. Or test your Unmatched skills in our various tournament formats! First time trying a tournament? Don’t worry, we offer events where players don’t need to bring anything. Try out Blitz or Conscript Unmatched events for that.
What are the Unmatched Tournament Types?
Blitz is a single round exhibition. To start, each player will draft 3 fighters from a pool. Each match is a battle royale with 3-5 players. When your hero is defeated, you’re not eliminated and instead pick from your unused characters to re-join the battle. The first player to make 3 character eliminations wins.
All materials are provided. Knowledge of rules required. Ages 9+
Conscript format is a direction elimination bracket. Over a series of rounds, players will face off in 1v1 matchups. Players will receive 2 pre-selected characters to play at the start of the event. At the end of each round, the winner will discard the winning character and take all of their opponent’s characters to add to their roster.
All materials are provided. Knowledge of rules required. Ages 9+
2v2 is a 3 round Swiss event. Teams of 2 will register their roster of 6 fighters to share. A solo player can pair up with another solo player at check in for the event. Each round, the teams will ban 1 fighter from the opposing team’s roster and then select the 2 characters they will play. Teams score 1 point for eliminating an opponent’s character. Eliminating both heroes wins the round.
Players must bring a roster of 6 fighters. Maps provided. Knowledge of rules required. Ages 9+
All events will earn players points that can be used on our Prize Wall for foil cards, neoprene battlefields, and other promos and accessories.
