Press Release – Unmatched: Stars and Stripes Hits the Table

March 16, 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

John Henry, Rosie the Riveter, Wyatt Earp, and George Washington kick off America’s 250th birthday.

Sunrise, FL – March 16, 2026. Today, Restoration Games announced the release schedule for Stars and Stripes, the latest set for Unmatched, the award-winning game of epic battles between unlikely opponents. The set will be available for early release on the Restoration Games webstore March 16th and will include an exclusive promo foil set. Fans can also find this new set on Barnes and Noble shelves soon, followed by the full retail release on June 24 – just in time for the July 4th celebration.

John Henry lays track tokens on paths, letting him build up a head of steam to knock his opponents silly. Rosie the Riveter dons a WWII-style mech suit with powerful upgrades. Wyatt Earp dishes out justice with his lightning-fast guns. George Washington runs a network of spies to keep the enemy guessing. This set also sees the release of the final three decks from the design contest from 2020. Rosie was a winning entry, and John Henry and George Washington were runners up. The set includes two new battlefields: The Alamo and The White House (complete with secret passages).

“America is a paradox,” said Justin Jacobson, president of Restoration Games. “As countries go, it’s relatively young. But its history is a rich tapestry, pulling threads from every culture, race, and religion on the planet. Trying to put together an Unmatched set to encapsulate all of that was an impossible task – but a fun one and an honor.”

Unmatched first released in 2019 to critical acclaim. Since that time, Restoration Games has released 23 sets, spanning the breadth of history, myth, and fiction, and featuring some of the most popular properties in the world. All told, Unmatched has sold more than a million copies worldwide.
